Bangor City Stadium Announces Partnership with CPD Penrhosgarnedd and Support for CPD Merched Bangor
Bangor City Stadium (BCS) is proud to announce its new partnership with CPD Penrhosgarnedd, as well as its continued support for CPD Merched Bangor. This initiative marks a significant step in BCS's commitment to community football in Bangor and the surrounding areas.
A New Era of Collaboration
The collaboration will enable CPD Penrhosgarnedd to utilise the facilities at Bangor City Stadium alongside their existing home in Treborth. Gethyn Owen from Penrhos expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "This is an exciting opportunity for CPD Penrhosgarnedd. It provides the club with more space to grow, increase the number of teams, and offer more football opportunities to the children of Bangor and its neighbouring areas. Currently, we lack provisions for teams beyond the age of 16. This move will create a pathway for talented youth to progress into senior football and continue playing the game they love."
Supporting the Vision
Additionally, the owners of Bangor City Stadium have generously agreed to sponsor the club this season to support its vision. Lee Dixon, BCS Board Director, remarked, "We are blessed with a fantastic stadium and a dedicated staff team. As a new board, we are passionate about using Bangor City Stadium to make a difference. Our goal is to deliver 'best in class' services, using our facilities to motivate, educate, and inspire the community. Supporting Penrhos Juniors with this donation will help remove participation barriers and develop future stars for Bangor City 1876. This significant investment will provide life-changing opportunities and support our wider community."
A Commitment to Community
This partnership underscores Bangor City Stadium's dedication to fostering community engagement and enhancing local football infrastructure. The new collaboration is set to benefit countless participants, ensuring a brighter future for football in Bangor.
This partnership is more than just an agreement; it’s a commitment to building a stronger, more connected community through football. With BCS's support, CPD Penrhosgarnedd and CPD Merched Bangor are poised to achieve new heights, benefiting the youth and the entire community.
